For over 32 years, Boundary Women’s Coalition (BWC) has supported women and their children to live free from violence. This is made possible through the generosity of people like YOU. Today, BWC is able to provide services and programs to hundreds of women and children to rebuild their lives because of the support from community donations, both cash and in-kind.

Membership is free, and is open to all persons who support the mission, visions, and values of Boundary Women’s Coalition. Members have voting privileges at our Annual General Meeting, and receive our biannual newsletter and information about upcoming special events. Optionally, become a financially sustaining member with a monthly donation in the amount of your choosing. You will be a part of a coalition committed to ensuring our programs and services can continue to support women and children in the Boundary region.

Join our governance board and help provide safe, healing spaces for women and children to live free from violence and thrive. Board meetings are on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 5:-6:15PM at the BWC Resource Centre, in downtown Grand Forks. (No meeting December and July). Board members are from Boundary Region and across BC. Attend meetings in-person or remotely by Zoom. Meal provided, and mileage and childcare reimbursed if needed to attend a meeting (Note: childcare is not provided).​

Boundary Women’s Coalition appreciates the abundant support provided by our local communities which enables us to meet the increasing demand in our region. As a volunteer, you will gain valuable skills and an opportunity to work alongside a team of dedicated women who share your passion for success and who are committed to supporting women survivors through our services and programs. We also accept practicum students on a case-by-case basis.
