For over 32 years, Boundary Women’s Coalition (BWC) has supported women and their children to live free from violence. This is made possible through the generosity of people like YOU. Today, BWC is able to provide services and programs to hundreds of women and children who want support to rebuild their lives because of the support from community donations, both cash and in-kind.

Our membership is open to all persons who support the mission, visions, and values of Boundary Women’s Coalition. For over 32 years, we have walked alongside women, providing advocacy, and helping to build their resilience. By becoming a member, you will be a part of a coalition committed to ensuring our programs and services support women and children within the Boundary region.

A mission like ours needs experience like yours. Join our governance board and help provide safe, healing spaces for women and children to live free from violence and thrive. Board members are from Boundary Region and across BC. Attend meetings in-person or remotely by video. We meet the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 5-6:15PM at the BWC Resource Centre, in downtown Grand Forks. (No meeting December and July).

Meal and mileage provided; childcare expense reimbursed if needed to attend a meeting (Note: childcare is not provided).

Boundary Women’s Coalition appreciates the abundant support provided by our local communities which enables us to meet the increasing demand in our region. As a volunteer, you will gain valuable skills and an opportunity to work alongside a team of dedicated women who share your passion for success and who are committed to supporting women survivors through our services and programs. We also accept practicum students on a case-by-case basis.
